Platanus Occidentalis Sycamore Seedlings old_product_id_10614 and enduring nature Fruit Trees and enduring nature From its strangely slick inner bark When young the rich green foliage is an attractive spring flush‚ large even size and shape in summer providing shade․ As it grows on the naturally spreading form becomes useful in allowing new spaces outdoors and is in sympathy with a background to depth of color and texture․ The leaves turn a yellow and bronze in autumn and drop off‚ leaving its most characteristic feature‚ its mottled bark․ Cream‚ white‚ gray and tan patches in the smooth bark make the tree attractive to look at year round and continue to make the tree of interest in winter․ Its graceful outlines are equally at home in the woods and out in the open‚ and it grows more beautiful with every passing year․
